Presently, Director of Accounts with Lagos State Ministry of Justice, held appointments as Treasurer, Chief Inspector, Financial Controller in a number of Banks and other Corporate organisation.
She has over 25 years experience in Audit, Consultancy and Accounting. She has extensive teaching experience at levels of professional and academic studies. Among her publications are Fraud Prevention and Control in the Banking Industry, Appreciation of Financial Management tools and Essays on Financial Management.
She has won many prizes in academics, past Chairman Ikeja District Society and Member Governing Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN)
Shakirat is a devout Muslim and member of NASFAT Cooperative Committee and Southwest Muslim Ummah Finance Committee.
Shakirat is happily married with children.
